I pine for you everyday, The Lost Movie. The only thing that bothers me? Cupid is never mentioned, and I wanted to see how they would dance around that one, but it turns out they just ignored it. It could have been great.

And the Ever Afters don't know about Santa Claus? At this point I really hope there will be someday an Ever After High tale about the Who plays Cupid in Ever After High? Pole Village or something! This franchise, and Shannon Hale, could do way more. They have demonstrated to be able to make relive classic folktales and in my opinion they should go further.

I liked the mashup of the two worlds! A breeze weaves through the trees, pushing fallen nouns into piles on the ground.

The remade to me just felt like a cheap, watered-down, version with no soul. I will never understand why they went there and changed it although I kinda do know that it was a compromise to make adult parents more comfortable with the image.

It felt like she was just there to fill space. Bunnies and goats appearing out of nowhere! Toward the end, I started to read in quickly in order to not have to spend another day reading it. O Unless you choose to write a fanfic scene like the book offers you to do. Direction could be more epic. After the battle with Moanica and Zomboyz this one was kind of a letdown again this can be changed with the readers' input, I guess. Oh my Grimm, Evil Queen. Some villains are simply too awesome to die. All is back to normal. All opinions are my own. What a fun and incredibly imaginative middle grade book! I have to admit that I solely requested this because of the author.

Even though I didn't have a previous background with this franchise, I had no problem jumping right into this story and easily following along. The characters definitely make this book. I can see why so many kids are drawn to them. It's an age appropriate retelling.

This story follows two students from Monster High: Frankie Stein and Draculara. They find themselves in Ever After High where they meet Apple White, Raven Queen and Madelyn Hatter. Obviously all are daughters of lengendary monsters or fairytale characters and neither group knew the other existed.

That is until the Evil Queen went on a search for a third mysterious school called Shadow High. Of course, I loved all Who plays Cupid in Ever After High? the little quirks that tied each daughter to their famous parent, but what I loved the most was all of the bookish references. Another main character is Brooke Page who happens to be the narrator.

She's incredibly funny, a bit star struck and a great way to introduce young readers to footnotes - where most of her interactions are Who plays Cupid in Ever After High?. The importance of being a good narrator is woven into the the Story of Shadow High and the awful villain who resides there.

The girls cross over an area called the Margins where your thoughts become reality and encounter an area where inanimate objects are just made out of piles of words. I loved the fact that the story includes a section where the reader chooses their own adventure.

That's always a big hit with kids. Overall, this was a quick and entertaining read. I would be interested in going back and reading the first three books so I can get to know the character and different schools better!! I think it would be fun to read this if I were in elementary school and played with these dolls. As an adult with no relationship to any of it, it was pretty dumb. One boy checked this out in the last year, but I picked this up thinking Monster High would be popular--do they even sell the dolls anymore?? Chapter 27 starts a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure, so I had to stop listening and do that instead. Also, I did like the idea of the narrator in the book.

It was far easier to read it than listen to this! But, the audiobook narrator is Who plays Cupid in Ever After High?, I just wasn't a fan of the loud squeally noises, even though they fit into the story. Who plays Cupid in Ever After High?

The books are always gorgeous with interesting plays on fractured fairy tales. So, of course, I was beyond thrilled to see a mashup of Every After High and Monster High.

To start out, I actually wasn't a huge fan of this. Brooke's narration was a little grating, to be honest. Her interjections were a bit irritating and noting that a particular sentence was terribly constructed in no way makes the sentence any better. It just adds some awkwardness. I love the use of narrators as characters, but Brooke mostly just annoyed me at the beginning.

However, as the story got going, I eased in to the narration and got swept up in the plot. It was fascinating to see all of the characters come together in this entirely new setting. I loved the combining of worlds, both those familiar and those previously unexplored. It was entertaining in a way very different from the previous books. Then things start really getting weird and I loved all of the puns and creative techniques used to portray the oddity.

The use of different fonts, the arguments between narrators, and the surprise input from the reader were all so interesting and unique. It really made for a great reading experience. As with the other books, the physical book is absolutely gorgeous, complete with Mapalogue graphics that are stunning. Despite the rocky Who plays Cupid in Ever After High?, I ended up loving this book so much.

It was wonderful to read and go along with the crazy ride that this mashup provides. A hexcellent book filled with puns, suspense, adventure, and surprises. Great to dive into and explore. I wish the original Monster High and Ever After High toy lines had hung on long enough for tie-in merchandise for this book.

I liked the characters they picked to be the focus of the story. In fact, I liked Frankie and Apple more than I usually do. That being said, the execution could have been better. The book wasn't written as well as I've come to expect from Ms. For example, in one of the early chapters, there is a passage where Clawdeen Wolf enters the room, tells Frankie and Draculaura that she needs to go check on her brothers related to a mildly spoiler-y situationand leaves the room again.

I'm all for character cameos, but I can't imagine there was no way to do that more gracefully. The ending Who plays Cupid in Ever After High?

extremely unsatisfying. I was definitely not expecting it to go in the direction that it did, and I was disappointed by it. It kind of felt like the authors were coming up on their deadline and in a hurry to wrap up the book. After hearing about this book, I considered preordering the ebook so I could read it the very day it was to be published. Shannon Hale is one of my favorite authors. I'm glad I didn't -- this book's beautiful design, complete with various fonts for discussions between narrators and a purple border on every page incorporating Skulletes and a magical tree branches, is one of my favorite features.

The story is interesting as well; in spite of a vague aura of plot holes, I was unable to put it down. I'm not sure how many times I'll reread it, however -- the portrayal of Monster High is based on the reboot, not the original, and the story did not always have a natural flow.

It made for an enjoyable afternoon of reading and satisfied my curiosity about this crossover, though, and as such was well worth the purchase. All in all, I would highly recommend this book to children, the very curious, and those who appreciate the Monster High reboot. I would not recommend it to moderate to severe critics of the reboot or to those who are looking for perfection rather than fun in their reading material.

Plus I do enjoy Shannon Hale's books. In the beginning I was bored with the story it took a minute for me to get involved and it didn't really start to pick up for me until the cross over and even then it was a bit iffy. Plus I do enjoy Shannon Hale's books.

Generally magical types are bond over the fact they're different from normal humans, so it was fun to have each group proclaim the other was just a bedtime story. Dunno why it amused me so much.
